I am primarily a metal artist, working with precious and non precious metals, more recently I have begun working with projection and digital media, working on all scales.
My home is North Wales, where the family clockmaking and dressmaking businesses have been an important influence for me, giving me an introduction to metalwork, making and antiques restoration at an early age. The traditional skills learnt in the family business are integral to my creative process, and combined with new processes such as rapid prototyping, projection and animation, my work encompasses several different artforms.
Alongside this work I am a lecturer at Grwp Llandrillo Menai, where I teach photography, 3D making skills and professional practice across all levels from BA to A Level. I have a PGCE in Post 16 Education, and a Masters in Art Practice.
